If a person sees that the girl he loves has gone to someone else or has been abducted by another, and concludes that there is no chance of union; to prevent this, he secretly takes "dead soil" from the cemetery one night. This soil is kneaded well with a glass of water taken from seven different springs, until it becomes a clay-like consistency. The kneaded lump of clay is left to wait for a while (a few hours) under a dry tree. The surah "Tebet" from the Quran is recited seven times, and it is blown to the right and left. The clay, which is starting to dry, is taken from there and divided into forty-one pieces. After saying "Ya Settar" seven times and "Ya Kahhar" seven times for each of these pieces, they are placed far apart in forty-one different locations. The person returns home and secretly urinates towards the house of the man who abducted the girl three times at night. "Tuu" is said forty-one times.
The grave soil is dried in the cold, and it is ground well in a mortar to be mixed into the water or food of the man who wants to marry the girl, turning it into flour. A little crushed poppy seed and a little crushed flaxseed are mixed together. A man who consumes this seven times will not be able to have a successful union with his bride for a few days after getting married. However, this must be done a few days before the marriage. Only the groom-to-be should consume the water or food that has been mixed with soil. If several people are consuming the water or food, the amount of poppy and flaxseed mixed with the soil must be sufficient for them.
Grave soil is taken and washed and dried in a bowl of water collected from seven springs, then placed in a vessel. A little garlic and a little black pepper are added and crushed. The urine of a blond boy who has not yet turned seven is poured over this. The name of the person for whom the spell is being cast is read three times and blown onto the soil. It is said "I bind" seven times, and "Ya Kahhar" is recited forty-one times. After the child has urinated, the dried soil is secretly spread on the roof of the wedding house before the wedding night. As long as that soil remains on the roof, the groom is weak and the bride is strong.
After taking dry soil from the grave, especially from under one of the cypress trees, one walks around the tree three times. During this walk, the name of the person to be bound is said seven times, and it is only blown to the left. The soil taken is divided into seven spoons at home. Each spoon is placed in a different location. After a while, one approaches each spoon and says "you are bound, huuu," holding the soil from the spoon in the left hand. It is poured out. After the soils from the seven spoons are collected in a container, a little fine salt is added on top. This soil is spread on the road that the groom will pass the night before the wedding. The groom's masculinity is said to leave that night as he walks on the soil, and he cannot meet the bride.
On Friday night, after the evening prayer, after taking a handful of soil from seven different places in the cemetery, it is blown to the right and left three times while saying "O deceased." A river or stream is crossed. This could also be a beautiful small stream.
In a deserted place, a few drops of tears are dropped on this grave soil. The name of the man to be bound by the spell is mentioned while dropping the tears. Then, looking three times to the right and three times to the left, "O master," "O guarantor" is said, and it is blown onto the soil. When arriving next to the house where the wedding will take place, the soil is divided into three. Two parts are placed in the direction of the bridal chamber, at the two corners of the house facing the newlyweds' heads, and the third part is spread in front of the entrance door. Seven times the following is recited:
O Trustworthy
O Helper
O Creator of the worlds
O Messenger of the Messengers
Make my intention come true
Lead me to my goal
Sin sin sin sin sin sin sin
Three steps back, three steps to the right, three steps to the left are taken, then they return home and go to bed.
All these actions are performed the night before the wedding. The wedding that takes place on the wedding night is also attended.
